Preparation for Event

Please ensure the room you plan to use for setup is clear. We are not responsible for moving furniture to ensure space for your event. Please note that our teepee tents are about three feet wide and house a twin sized air mattress in them.

For best safety practices, we ask that you ensure direct supervision to any child under the age of 10 if they will be in the glampsite space during set up. Based on many set ups, we find that the glampsites are most fun when the final product is a surprise!

PETS: We adore our furry friends! We ask that you ensure they are not in the glampsite space during set up or pick up, this is for their safety as we move things around, and for an efficient party set up.

Rental Agreement

This Rental Agreement is made effective as of January 2025, by and between the undersigned Miranda Gardner and Teepee Party CT.

1. Rental Period:
The rental period is 1 night. All items are rentals except for any balloons provided.

2. Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit of $100 is required to cover any potential damages or additional cleaning. This deposit will be returned within 5 days following the end of the Rental Period, provided the items are returned in good condition.

3. Delivery and Setup:
The Company will deliver and set up the teepee and party items at the agreed-upon location and time. The Renter is responsible for ensuring that the space is ready for setup.

4. Responsibilities of the Renter:

  • The Renter agrees to supervise all guests during the rental period.

  • The Renter must ensure that all items are kept in good condition and are not used outside or in unsanitary conditions.

  • The Renter is responsible for any loss or damage to the rented items during the Rental Period.

5. Indemnification:
The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, or injuries resulting from the use of the rental items during the Rental Period.

6. Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of CT.

Liability

Liability in the context of slumber party teepee rentals involves understanding the responsibilities and potential risks associated with the rental service. As a company providing equipment and experiences for children, we ensure that all products are safe, clean, and suitable for use. This includes thorough inspections of the teepees, bedding, and any additional items provided. Furthermore, we accept no liability for any accidents, personal injuries, or loss of property. By addressing these aspects, Teepee Party CT aims to foster a fun and safe environment while minimizing risks and ensuring that both the company and customers are protected.

Damaged Product Policy

We love seeing that the teepee site was fully enjoyed when we come to pick it up the next morning! As a small business, we take additional time and careful measures to guarantee the quality of our rental inventory to every client without having to raise our rental rate. 

We kindly request that you ask guests to refrain from jumping on the teepee beds. This "rule" is in place to minimize the risk for injury and leave little room for inventory damage to occur! 

​We love clients who take our themes to the next level! Please ensure all nail polish, makeup, or other staining products are not handled by guests in the teepee site space. 

Cancellation Policy

At Teepee Party CT, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide clarity and flexibility:

  • Your $100 party deposit fee is non-refundable. If in the unforeseen case of an emergency, we must cancel your party date, you will receive a refund of your $100 deposit in addition to any amount already paid toward your party balance. This is the only circumstance in which the deposit is refunded and we will provide notification in the unlikely circumstance that this occurs

  • Once the deposit is paid, be mindful that your remaining party balance must be paid in full no less than 7 days prior to your party date. If it is not paid by this time, your party may be subject to cancellation without a refund on any amount paid toward the party, including the initial $100 deposit. 

  • If one of your party guests cancels within the 24 hours prior to your party set up, please be aware that we do not offer refunds per guest tents for our glampsites.

Safety Policy

At Teepee Party CT, the safety and well-being of our guests, especially children, is our top priority. We are committed to providing a fun and enjoyable slumber party experience while adhering to the highest safety standards. Our safety policy includes the following guidelines:

General Safety Guidelines

  1. Supervision: An adult must be present during the entire duration of the party to supervise the children. This ensures a safe environment for all guests.

  2. Setup and Space Safety: We will conduct a thorough check of the designated setup area before installation. The space should be free of sharp objects, tripping hazards, and any items that could pose a risk to children.

  3. Teepee Structure: Our teepees are constructed using sturdy materials. We recommend that children do not climb on or excessively shake the teepees to prevent accidental injuries.

  4. Emergency Procedures: In case of an emergency, the supervising adult should be aware of the nearest exit routes and have a plan for contacting local emergency services if needed.

Health and Hygiene

  1. Cleanliness: All equipment, including the teepees and bedding, will be cleaned and sanitized prior to each rental. We prioritize hygiene to provide a safe environment for children.

  2. Illness Policy: We request that any child exhibiting symptoms of illness, such as fever or contagious conditions, does not attend the party to protect the health of all guests.
